Hurom Hurom Cold Spring in Nabas Aklan - The Blogger Philippines

Hurom Hurom is a cold spring resort suited at Nabas Malay Aklan, a 30-45 minutes away from Caticlan jetty port. This is the perfect place to spend family gatherings like  birthdays, family outing or even your barkada's chill party.

This cold spring in Nabas Aklan is a perfect for the summer season. Why not? If you're in Boracay Island and looking for the place to go (side trip). This is the better place to go!

They have 4 feet and 7 feet deep water (for adults) and for kids as well (like mini pool) If you have kids with you just keep your eye open to them. Just to be sure that your kid won't go to the deepest one.

I've spent my day in Hurom Hurom to celebrate my cousin's birthday. We really enjoyed our day celebrating with 3 of my cousins and 2 cousin's niece. A full fun celebrations with Hotel and Spa staffs.

They sing like no tomorrow and the boodle fight (we ate in a banana leaf) with tons of foods seafoods, grilled chicken, letchon (roast pig), cakes and alot more.

Entrance Fee: P30.00
Cottages P150-P200

If you want to go and thinking your'e not familiar with the place you may contact SouthWest Travel & Tours they can help and provide you a Professional Tour Guide and service going and return to Caticlan jetty port. Don't forget to SHARE on your friends about Hurom-Hurom Laserna Nabas Aklan

I did a solo trip to Bacolod , Negros Occidental last February since i was visiting Iloilo that time and i sailed straight to Bacolod the next day to spoil myself with this lovely view of Lakawon Island. Solo trippin' Bacolod for me is easier if you would navigate the island with an internet connection. ( Thank you internet gods , offline maps and other stuff )

Important things to consider :
  • internet connection - will guide you on how to go from certain destination to the next
  • Power bank - to keep your smartphone charged
  • Extra cash - just in case
  • Water - to keep you hydrated

These items will help you survive the day all by yourself in the beautiful Island of Lakawon and never forget to keep yourself hydrated since summer heat in Bacolod can be a little uncomfortable.
How to go to Lakawon :
  • Ride  a jeep going to North Bus Terminal ( Ceres Terminal )
  • Take a bus going to Cadiz
  • Alight to Martesan Bus Terminal
  • Ride a tricycle
  • Boat ride for 15 minutes
Budget Guide :

CERES Bus ( Airconditioned ) to Martesan Bus Terminal in Cadiz city
( Tell the bus driver that you will alight
on the Bus stop yo Lakawon Island )
Tricycle for 1 person
( if you have someone with you divide it among yourselves )
At Lakawon office , pay for Environmental Fee ,
 Boat ride fee and Terminal
Upon arriving , go straight to the Lakawon
Offiice in the Island and Pay for Tawhai Floating Bar
Tricycle going back to Cadiz Bus Stop
CERES Ordinary Bus to Bacolod City

Note: The P250 entrance fee to Tawhai gives you a complimetary drink of Juice or Beer + Unlimited visit to the bar for that day. Keep in mind that the bar closes at 8pm.Extra expenses are food and alcoholic drinks to give you a chill vibes while you're on the island!
At Lakawon Island

At Tawhai Floating Bar

Solo Travel tips :

Always make friends with the people at the bar , including the staffs since Ilonggos are known to be hospitable and sweet. Try talking to Kuya Ariel! He offered to take photos of me for remembrance he said but I said i'm good with just seeing the bar and the island and told him that i will come back "for sure".

Don't drink too much since Lakawon is an hour away from Bacolod City.
  • Pack light
  • Get to know other people but always be careful
  • Stick on the budget ( If you're a budget traveler )
Feel free to ask any questions! Lugar lang!!!!!
